What is the process of an uncontested divorce?

An uncontested divorce still follows the legal guidelines of the Family Code for divorce. (Family Code Sec. 6.604) A written settlement must be agreed upon by both parties and signed by you or your appointed attorney. If the court finds the settlement unjust the court can request a contested hearing.
