Coronavirus (Covid-19) Tarrant County – Stay at Home Update

Am I allowed to leave my house to pick up my child for my visitation? A Stay-In-Place or Shelter-in-Place is in effect who has custody rights?

Your child’s custody is NOT affected by the Stay-at-Home order in Tarrant County. You are still to follow the court order that was set in place.

However if all parties can agree on an altered possession schedule and your court order allows that, you may, if all parties agree.

These questions and many more involving your child’s safety and families safety are on the top of the list as we face this crisis together. Turner Monahan PLLC will be working to put daily updates on what is and is not changing during the Covid-19 pandemic.
