Heather Ogier

Heather Ogier is a Senior Associate Attorney with Turner-Monahan, PLLC and her practice has been focused on family law since she was licensed to practice law in Texas in 2005. Heather has dedicated her legal career to assisting families through some of their most difficult times by providing dedicated and professional representation.  

During Heather’s career, she has managed her own law firm, worked for small firms, and worked for a nationwide law firm – all of which were focused on family law. Throughout her, Heather has handled all types of family law cases including divorce, child custody, adoption, terminations, enforcements and the modification of orders.

Heather grew up in the DFW metroplex and graduated from Texas Tech University with a Bachelor of Arts degree in English and received her Juris Doctor from Texas Wesleyan University School of Law in Fort Worth in 2004.

Heather is passionate about her clients’ goals and helps them manage their expectations through the emotional process of a lawsuit involving family issues. Heather will advocate for her clients in court and during settlement negotiations or mediations.

Heather is also a mediator with a focus on family law cases. The process of litigation is by nature, adversarial. Mediation is an informal process by which an impartial third party, the mediator, helps parties facilitate a mutually acceptable agreement, rather than going to court and having a judge or jury decide the case. Heather believes that mediation is a format in which parties can reach a resolution for their families without the additional costs and stresses of a final trial. With her extensive experience in the field of family law, Heather is an asset to the resolution of a lawsuit through mediation.

Heather is currently a member of the State Bar of Texas, the Tarrant County Bar Association, and the Tarrant County Family Law Bar Association.
